Secure Consensus via Objective Coding: Robustness Analysis to Channel Tampering

چکیده
This work mainly addresses continuous-time multiagent consensus networks where an adverse attacker affects the convergence performances of said protocol. In particular, we develop a novel secure-by-design approach in which presence network manager monitors system and broadcasts encrypted tasks (i.e., hidden edge weight assignments) to agents involved. Each agent is then expected decode received codeword containing data on task through appropriate decoding functions by leveraging advanced security principles, such as objective coding information localization. Within this framework, stability analysis conducted for showing robustness channel tampering scenario part corresponding single link corrupted. A tradeoff between capability also pointed out. To support these novelties, application example decentralized estimation provided. Moreover, investigation robust agreement well extended discrete-time domain. Further numerical simulations are given validate theoretical results both time domains.

An efficient secure channel coding scheme based on polar codes
In this paper, we propose a new framework for joint encryption encoding scheme based on polar codes, namely efficient and secure joint secret key encryption channel coding scheme. The issue of using new coding structure, i.e. polar codes in Rao-Nam (RN) like schemes is addressed. Cryptanalysis methods show that the proposed scheme has an acceptable level of security with a relatively smaller ke...
متن کاملSecure Network Coding via Filtered Secret Sharing∗
We study the problem of using a multicast network code to transmit information securely in the presence of a “wire-tap” adversary who can eavesdrop on a bounded number of network edges. We establish a close connection between secure linear network coding and a new variant of the secret sharing problem, which we call filtered secret sharing. Using this connection, we establish new trade-offs bet...
متن کاملRobustness Analysis in Evolutionary Multi-Objective Optimization
This paper presents two approaches to robustness analysis in multi-objective optimization problems, in which the model data (coefficients of objective functions, coefficients of constraints, bounds of decision variables, etc.) are subject to small perturbations, with respect to a ”nominal” set of coefficients of the model data. In these approaches, the concept of degree of robustness is incorpo...
متن کاملConsensus Software: Robustness and Social Good via Widespread Multiagent Development
This paper describes two complementary research thrusts: (1) it investigates how software robustness can be achieved pragmatically through the use of large-scale multiagent systems, and (2) it investigates how a broader spectrum of people can contribute to the production and customization of software, also through the use of multiagent systems. The paper first hypothesizes that robust software ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Response Robustness for a Multi-Objective Mathematical Model of Dynamic Cellular Manufacturing
The multi-objective optimization problem is the main purpose of generating an optimal set of targets known as Pareto optimal frontier to be provided the ultimate decision-makers. The final selection of point of Pareto frontier is usually made only based on the goals presented in the mathematical model to implement the considered system by the decision-makers. In this paper, a mathematical model...
